i was pretty sure their regulations were wack from the past (like taking rights or something) and this is from a message board:
"A musician or say an actor discusing their latest release in a magazine is exposure, not paying contibutors for content, which is what your image is, is simply taking advantage of gullible people who think being published without recompense is a good thing. And contributes further to the degrading of photography as a profession as opposed to a hobby."
nobody cares if you have been published in ngm if you were not paid. true story.
